Last week we were in Isaiah chapter 6 where we saw three distinctives about God. Those distinctives tell us something about God, but what do we do with that information? Today Pastor Clay is taking us back to Isaiah where we will find out what our reaction should be to the God who is like no other. Isaiah's reaction to his vision of God is a model for believers today.

On the other hand God has invited us to know Him in a personal way. Who is man? The world seems to say the answer to that question is found within ourselves. Self-actualization and self-absorption are the ways to finding one’s self. The Bible, however, has a very different answer to the question. Today Pastor Clay is taking us to Psalm 8 where we'll discover the answer to "who is man" is not by knowing ourselves, but by knowing the One who created us.

This teaching series is designed to coincide with an in-home study of the same name from that our Life Groups are participating in together. In today’s culture the lines between reality and illusion are becoming increasingly blurred. As followers of Jesus it's crucial that we understand what we believe and why we believe it's true. There are all kinds of truth claims out there. Knowing what is true helps us to discern what is real and what isn't.

We’re in the middle of a series from the book of Acts entitled, ‘Transformers – More than meets the eye’ and today Pastor Clay is taking us to Acts chapter 5 and the fascinating story of God’s judgment of Ananias and Sapphira. They were active members of the church in Jerusalem. They were probably well liked, some would even say they were generous, but Ananias and Sapphira had a secret that they thought no one knew about. They learned the hard way that there are no secrets that can be kept from God. And today we're going to learn that our character counts.

We’re in week two of our series from the book of Acts entitled, Transformers – More Than Meets the Eye. This week Pastor Clay is taking us to Acts chapter 17 where we will discover that God’s word is the source for determining what is truth. The Apostle Paul preached in Thessalonica and then in Berea. In Thessolonica most who heard him rejected his message, but in Berea there was a very different reaction to Paul's truth claims. The difference seems to be the Berean's willingness to investigate Paul's teaching in the light of Scripture.
