Saturday Jun 11, 2011
Saturday Jun 11, 2011
Real belief causes real action. That’s the fact we established last week as we started in chapter 3 of the book of Jonah. If we really believe something it will effect our actions, but what does our belief and actions cause God to do? That’s the question we're going to explore today as Pastor Clay continues this wonderful study in the book of Jonah.

13 weeks ago we began a series entitled "Cross Culture in 3D: So Real You Can Touch It!" It’s purpose has been to help understand better what needs to be a part of our everyday lives, our everyday walk with Jesus if it’s going to be more than just something we do on Sunday morning. Today we come to the last dimension of our 3D series on discipleship and it's the dimension of duplication. As Pastor Clay is going to show us today, making disciples is the call of all of us who follow Christ. As we'll see from the Great Commission in Matthew chapter 28, it's more than trying to win converts. It's about trying to make fully-devoted followers of Jesus.

As Pastor Clay is going to show us today, Jesus has clearly charged us with the task of sharing His message with the world, but most Christians struggle with the idea of sharing their faith. Special: Resurrection Sunday
Sunday Apr 24, 2011
Sunday Apr 24, 2011
Today in this special Easter edition of Crosswalk, Pastor Clay is taking us to Matthew chapters 27 and 28 and the story of the resurrection. Last week Pastor Clay established the fact that Jesus knew He was going to die, but did He believe that He was going to rise from the dead? What about the soldiers at the tomb, the religious leaders, Jesus' disciples? Is there any evidence that they believed it? Most important of all, do you believe it? How you answer that question will determine your eternal destiny.

Special: Palm Sunday
Sunday Apr 17, 2011
Sunday Apr 17, 2011
Today is Palm Sunday and we're taking a break from our current series to focus on our Lord’s sacrificial death. Pastor Clay is taking us to Luke 22 where Jesus and His disciples are gathered in the Upper Room to commemorate the Passover. Jesus knew He was only hours from the cross and so He taught His disciples to keep a new commemoration to help all of us remember the price our God paid that we might be set free from sin and death. The Lord's Supper isn't a ceremony or a ritual, it's a time of deep reflection and appreciation for what God did for us.

From there, Pastor Clay is going to take us to John chapter 13 and the fascinating account of Jesus washing His disciples' feet and the lessons we can all elarn from that as we seek to honor our Lord through the discipline of service.

Sunday Apr 03, 2011
Sunday Apr 03, 2011
Have you ever gone to a restaurant and gotten bad service? Maybe the person waiting on you had a bad attitude or maybe they just didn’t seem to care what kind of service they gave. That can be frustrating, can’t it? But have you ever stopped to think about your service to the Lord? Maybe you've never thought of service as a discipline before, but Pastor Clay teaches us today, just like the other disciplines we've discussed, service has to be built into our lives or we run the risk of letting the busyness of life push our service to God out.

Cross Culture in 3D, Week 6: Discipline - Giving
Sunday Mar 27, 2011
Sunday Mar 27, 2011
Ask enough people who don’t attend church why they don’t attend and sooner or later you’ll hear somebody say, “All they talk about at church is money.” Talking about people and their money can be a touchy subject, but does that mean a church should never talk about money? Would it surprise you to know that the Bible talks about money quite a bit? Obviously, money is an important part of our lives and knowing what God expects us to do with it is important if we're going to continue to move forward in our desire to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

As Pastor Clay is going to show us, the 119th Psalm teaches us some important principles concerning the word of God that will help us build the discipline of studying the word of God into our lives.

Sunday Mar 13, 2011
Today Pastor Clay continues his teaching on the various disciplines that should be built into the life of a fully-devoted follower of Jesus by looking at the discipline of fasting. The series is centered around three crucial dimensions to being a fully-devoted follower of Jesus, desire, disicpline, and duplication. Today, we move into the area of disciplines in our life and the first one we're going to talk about is prayer. As you'll hear Pastor Clay say today, statistics show that the average Christian only spends about a minute a day praying. That's not very much time for something that most of us would agree should be an important part of our lives.

These are questions worth asking ourselves as followers of Jesus.

This week in our year-long study of the book of Revelation we come to the last half of chapter 21 and the description of the New Jerusalem. The description that John the Apostle gives is incredible, but it’s a description that causes us to ask some questions. Is this a real place? How big will it be? Who will be there? What will it look like? As Pastor Clay is going to show us today, this is one big city that everyone will want to live in.
