Welcome to our brand new series built around the Christmas story entitled, ''Its a Wonder-full Life.'' Over the next five weeks were going to look at five different characters involved in the Christmas story, and what it was that made their life wonder-full. As Pastor Clay is going to explain, most everyone wants to live a wonderful life, but God wants, and has something more for us. God wants us to have a wonder-full life! Were kicking this series off in Luke chapter 1 and the encounter between the angel Gabriel and young lady named Mary. No doubt Mary had her idea of what would make for a wonderful life. But God had other plans for Mary that would lead to a wonder-full life.

The Decepti(ve)cons, Week 8

Theres no question that our sexuality is a very powerful thing. But does sex have limits? Today in our series, ''Decepti(ve)cons: More Than Meets the Eye,'' Pastor Clay is taking on one of the most prevalent deceptions in our culture today, especially in the area of our sexuality. If it hurts nobody, its nobodys business. Certainly our culture has embraced that sentiment, but as you'll hear from Pastor Clay today, God has a very different take on what the standard of morality is when it comes to our sexuality.

Ask people what it takes to get into heaven and you may get a variety of answers. but the one youll hear the most is, be a good person. The question is, is that true? Is my eternal destination based on whether Im good or bad, or does God have a different standard for entrance into heaven? Today Pastor Clay is going to explains that while man-made religions center on mans ability to be good enough, Gods standard is a lot higher than most people realize.

Are all religions are basically the same? Or, is it possible that the world has been deceived? Today Pastor Clay is taking on one of the most sinister of all the decepti(ve)cons, the belief that all belief systems are equally valid, and equally capable of leading a person into right standing with God.

Our culture tell us that the Bible is not reliable and no one knows what the original documents contained, but once again, that is a deceptive con. There is an overwhelming body of evidence for the reliability of the Bible and ''why do I believe the Bible is true?'' is the greatest question we can answer. Evolution has been proposed as a natural explanation for life and many people consider it an established fact, but is far from the truth. We're in our series entitled 'Decepti(ve)cons,' a study looking at deceptions used in the world today to con men and women out of a relationship with God. Today, we're taking on the truth about evolution. Secular scientists call it fact, but as we'll hear today, somebody's being conned.

Evil, it seems that everyday we hear of more and more evil in the world. School shootings, terrorist bombings, disasters. With so much evil around us it's easy to ask, ''Where is God? The existence of evil is an highly emotional subject, because as we'll hear Pastor Clay say today, it touches all of our lives in one way or another.'' But does the existence of evil mean that God doesn't exist? Today, we're going to look at a few more arguments for the existence of God by dealing with one of the biggest arguments against God's existence that is used today, the existence of evil.

Last week we began ''The Decepti(ve)cons,'' a series looking at the cons that Satan uses against people to steal their personal relationship with God. Today we launch a brand new series here at Cross Culture Church entitled, 'The Decepti(ve)cons.' It's a series looking at the deceptions that are designed to con people out of what God has for them. We're kicking this series off today with a look at a deception that a lot of people are falling for, and that is the belief that there really isn't any evidence that God even exists. Pastor Clay is going to expose that lie, and show us that the evidence for God is really overwhelming.

Today we come to the end of our series entitled, "Daniel: Unshakable Faith, Unbreakable Promise," and as it happens, the material we're covering concerns the events that take place at the end. As Pastor Clay has said during this series, "History is really His story." We've seen time and again that God's predictions, through Daniel, came true exactly as God said they would. That gives us the utmost confidence that the future events we will look at today, will come true just as accurately. Like Daniel, if we will be faithful while we are here, then we can fully expect to be rewarded by God when we get there.

We've only got one more chapter to go before we get to the end of the book of Daniel and our series entitled, Unshakable Faith, Unbreakable Promise, and today in chapter 11 we're getting a front row seat to view God's plan for the end. We're drawing very close to the end of our study of the book of Daniel and hope this study has helped each of us gain a new perspective of just how big our God is and just how much He is in control. Today, we're in chapter 11 of the book of Daniel and it contains probably the most detailed and complex prophecy in the entire book. Last week Pastor Clay showed us some of the realities of prayer that we can expect in our prayer life, when our prayer life looks like Daniel's. Then, we're going to Daniel 9:24-27 where we find a prophecy so specific and accurate that it should leave no doubt in anyone's mind as to the greatness of our God.

Daniel, Week 22: Unshakable Faith, Unbreakable Promise

Repent, that's a word that we don't hear a lot in our culture. But that doesn't mean it's not still very important for our lives. Today Pastor Clay is taking into the first half of Daniel chapter 9 where we find Daniel praying to God to restore the nation of Israel and in Daniel's prayer today, we'll hear the key to getting right with God and the key is that little word with big meaning. The word "repent."

As we continue our series in the book of Daniel, Pastor Clay is taking us today to the second part of chapter 8. Last week, God showed Daniel how the empire's of Medo-Persia and Greece would rise up. We've been spending most of 2013 in the book of Daniel and today we come to an amazing portion of Daniel's prophesy. As you listen along, at times it may seem like Pastor Clay is taking us through a history lesson. What Daniel writes about leaves us with no doubt that God is firmly in control.

This week, We're continuing our series "Daniel: Unshakable Faith, Unbreakable Promise." This is our third week in chapter 7 and as Pastor Clay explained a couple of weeks ago, chapter 7 deals almost exclusively with prophecy. As we'll hear today, God gave Daniel a vision that showed him not only four kingdoms that would rule on the earth for a period of time, but also a final ruler who would come to power and attempt to stop God from keeping His promise of establishing His kingdom. But as our series title indicates, God's promises are unbreakable.
