Crossroads (Week 18) - 1 Corinthians 7:1-40 (Part 2 – Verses 6-16)

If you are an adult, and you're single, you’ve probably had to answer this question at one time or another: "So, when are you getting married?" Obviously, marriage can and should be a wonderful thing. But, what about being single? Can that be a wonderful thing as well?

Our "Crossroads" series is an in-depth study of the New Testament books of 1 & 2 Corinthians. This week, we’re continuing to look at 1 Corinthians chapter 7, a chapter that has lots to tell us about living as a follower of Jesus and what that means for things like marriage, divorce, and living single. God's perspective and expectation is much different from how our culture approaches those subjects and that means deciding what your source of truth is going to be for your life; the culture, your feelings or God’s word.
