Preeminent, the word means, "Superior to or notable above all others." Followers of Jesus would certainly agree with that definition as applied theologically to Jesus, but do we agree with it practically? There are lots of ideas, religions, and philosophies floating around today that challenge our understanding of who Jesus is. Last week Pastor Clay explained to us how Paul was building a case for Jesus Christ preeminent. He is God and the only one worthy to be worshipped. But while we may agree with that statement theologically, do we agree with it practically? In other words, is Jesus Christ preeminent in our everyday lives? That's the question were exploring this week on CrossWalk.
