Birth Announcements, Week 1: The Announcement of Hope

Well, we've hardly had time for our Thanksgiving dinner to settle and already the Christmas season is upon us. Today on Crosswalk we're beginning a brand new series especially for this season of the year. 'Birth Announcements' is the title of this series and as you may have already guessed we're going to be looking to God's word to see the announcements of God's Son coming to earth. We're kicking this series off today in a passage of scripture that you might not normally think of when talking about the birth of Christ, but it is in fact the first place we find the promise of the One who would come to save the world.
